Princeton, N.J.-based The Mercadien Group organized a day of service last week to help homeless veterans and children in need.
Employees of the firm gathered at Rider University’s Bart Luedeke Center on Dec. 26 to assemble furniture and care packages donated by Mercadien for delivery to veteran’s housing shelters, and to assemble gifts for children.
“Hosting events such as our day of service and holiday toy drive is very meaningful to our firm,” Mercadien managing director Conrad Druker said in a statement. “We are grateful to have the opportunity to serve our community and help make the holiday season a little brighter for those in need.”
On the same day, Mercadien completed its 16th annual Toys for Tots program. Firm associates donated dozens of new toys for distribution by the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mercadien has more than 130 professionals, and offers a wide range of accounting and advisory services to business and individual clients.
